A wedding photographer who won't get in the way.
It's all about your wedding.
Your wedding day isn’t just one big event. It’s a series of little moments that all come together to create a day that you will want to cherish and treasure for years to come.
My approach to wedding photography is to capture these brief moments in a way that will tell a story that you will want to share. Each wedding is full of unscripted moments waiting to unfold. This is why I let you take centre stage and won’t be directing you or getting in the way.
My approach to your wedding photography.
The Story Of Your Wedding
I don’t dictate the story of your wedding. I won’t tell people where to stand or run around getting in the way.
I will simply watch as the story of your wedding unfolds, ready with the camera to capture all of those special, emotional moments that you will want to keep.
The Real you
Unless you are a professional model, being told to stand and face the camera with a ‘say cheese’ smile just isn’t natural, so that is not what you will get from me.
I want you to feel comfortable and natural in every shot. It’s you being you that is so special and that is what, as a wedding photographer, I want to capture.
We will still get the group shots
Don’t panic there will still be time to capture those all important group shots that everyone wants to see, although not necessarily be in (If you are looking for uncle Bob will be hiding in the bar).
Your wedding photography questions?
I live in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. However I am willing to travel around Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and all over the UK. So far the furthest I have been for a wedding is Wethby in Yorkshire.
Yes, I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance which meets the requirement for most wedding venues.
It’s one of those things that we don’t like to think about, however, it is worth considering. If you are ill on the day, or something else happens, it would be difficult but you could reschedule the wedding. For me however it isn’t quite that simple. First and foremost, even if I was feeling ill, I would still aim to be there for your wedding.
If, however, this wasn’t possible I do have other photographers who I have built up a relationship with. We recognise each others style and where possible will help each other in times of need.
If these photographers are not available my next fallback would be to contact other photographers via The Guild of Photographers.
I have bookings as far away as 12-18 months, however I am taking bookings all the time. There really is no limit to the amount of notice that I need. If it’s booking well in advance or very last minute. Get in touch and I will see what we can do.
Of course you can. If you do have certain photos that you would like taken just let me know and I will ensure that these are taken during the day.
I will take more photographs than you will see in your gallery. On average I will take over 1,500 photographs, however, I will review these before editing the final cut for your wedding gallery.
The final number of photographs will depend on the amount of time that I am with you although you would expect around 500 photographs for the 8 hour package.
After I have edited all of your photographs I will create an online gallery that you can view and share with your family and friends.
I usually get the gallery to you in under two weeks (enough time for you to enjoy your honeymoon). In peak times though it may but slightly longer.
Yes, there is a non-refundable booking fee of 10% to reserve the date for your wedding. The cost of the booking fee is included in the price for each of the packages.
To make it easier for you the invoice amount is split into smaller amounts.
The 10% booking fee is required when you make your booking to reserve the date. If this is not paid the date of your wedding is still available to other clients.
After that the remaining balance is split into two payments which are due nearer the date of your wedding.
Yes, after the invoice has been settled in full your gallery will be set to allow downloads. As soon as you have downloaded your photographs they are yours. Print them, share them or do what ever you like.
Of course you can order prints. There are a variety of different sizes and finishes that you can select from.
I also have some set packages available which have been created from my most common requests. These can be viewed from your gallery.
Your gallery will only be available for a limited time, however, during this time you are able to share it with whoever you like. What’s more they will also be able to order prints directly from the gallery.
