Wedding Photography - Bodicote House & Cromwell Lodge Hotel, Banbury, Oxfordshire
It was time for another visit to Banbury in Oxfordshire. More to the point two different venues, Bodicote House (the registry office) for the ceremony before going on to the Cromwell Lodge Hotel for the wedding reception.
As I arrived I quickly found the ceremony room and had a look around, as soon as I saw the staircase I knew I could do something with that. It wasn’t long either before I saw the perfect opportunity.
The groom and other guests had gone into the ceremony room and I was left with the bridal party. As I walked up the stairs for a better view the bride was sat there with her father. That was it I couldn’t resist the shot.
Even though the groom was very nervous (as would be expected) the ceremony went without a hitch. Well apart from the groom forgetting his lines. The couple though, in their own style, simply made a joke of it and carried on.
Everything was ready for us at the Cromwell Lodge Hotel and the tables were all laid waiting for the guests to take their seats. They had even provided bubbles to keep the adults (and children if the adults left any) occupied as they waited for their meals to arrive.
The meal and speeches done it only left one thing… party time. Don’t ask what they were dancing to but it did provide some very funny photos (some of which I can’t show on here).
